1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of this website and any quotation, order, or purchase made with Shree Shyam ("we", "us", "our"), a furniture manufacturer operating from Flat No. 32, Block B, Rang Street, City Bundi, Rajasthan 323802, India.
By browsing this website, submitting an enquiry, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or place an order with us.
2. Orders & Quotations
Enquiries submitted through our website or by phone/email are treated as requests for a quotation, not confirmed orders. A quotation from us is valid for the period stated in the quote, or 15 days if none is stated.
An order is confirmed only once you accept the final quotation and any advance payment we request has been received.
3. Pricing & Payment
- Prices are quoted per piece or per set, in Indian Rupees, and exclude delivery unless stated otherwise.
- We may require an advance payment before production begins, with the balance due before or on delivery, as agreed in your quotation.
- Prices for raw materials can change; any price we have already confirmed in writing for your order will be honoured.
4. Custom & Made-to-Order Pieces
Many of our pieces are built to order once your specifications are confirmed. Because production begins on materials cut specifically for your order, custom and made-to-measure orders cannot be cancelled once production has started, except at our discretion.
Minor variations in dimensions (within standard workshop tolerance) may occur between the confirmed drawing and the finished piece.
5. Delivery
- Delivery timelines quoted are estimates from the date of order confirmation and advance payment, and may vary with order volume and material availability.
- Pieces are crated and dispatched from our Bundi workshop; risk transfers to the transport carrier on dispatch, though we insure shipments as agreed in your quotation.
- You are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address and ensuring someone is available to receive and inspect the delivery.
6. Cancellation & Returns
Standard-catalogue items may be cancelled or returned within the period stated in your order confirmation, subject to a deduction for delivery and handling already incurred. Custom and made-to-order pieces, once production has begun, are not eligible for cancellation or return except where the piece is defective or does not match the confirmed specification.
7. Warranty
We warrant our furniture against manufacturing defects in joinery and structure for the period stated on your invoice. This warranty does not cover damage from misuse, water exposure, extreme humidity changes, pests, or normal wear such as minor surface marks over time.
8. Nature of Solid Wood
Because our furniture is made from solid natural timber, grain pattern, colour tone, and minor knots will vary between pieces, and wood may expand or contract slightly with seasonal humidity changes. These are natural characteristics of solid wood, not defects.
9. Website & Content
All text, images, and designs on this website belong to Shree Shyam unless otherwise noted, and may not be copied or reused without our written permission. Product designs shown are representative; finished pieces may vary slightly in grain and tone as noted above.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Shree Shyam's liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from delays, transport issues, or misuse of delivered furniture.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts having authority over Bundi, Rajasthan.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The version in effect on the date you place an order will apply to that order. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
